BYD e6 Battery Interface Controller (BIC)
A Battery Interface Controller (BIC), the module-level unit in BYD's distributed BMS system. One is fitted to each of the ten battery modules.
BYD e6 contactor box and central BMS unit
The contactor box and central BMS unit, located in the boot. The BMS coordinates the ten BICs and manages the battery pack as a whole.

The DC-DC converter, which steps down high-voltage pack voltage to various lower voltages for the power steering, air conditioning and 12 V for the auxiliary systems.
